The Arabian Best of Best Awards is the Middle East's most prestigious independent business recognition platform — a merit-based recognition program created to honor the brands, businesses, and leaders defining excellence across the Arabian region. Founded in Dubai in 2018, the awards have grown to recognize more than 1,000 winners across 200+ categories spanning twenty industries and six core GCC markets: the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman.
From day one, we built the program around a single, uncompromising principle: merit is the only currency that matters. Our awards are not sold. Our jury is not influenced. Our laurels are not handed out to sponsors. Every winner earns their recognition through a four-stage evaluation process designed to be defensible, transparent, and respected by industry insiders across the GCC.
To create the Middle East's most credible, most coveted, and most genuinely useful business recognition platform — one where winning meaningfully changes a brand's commercial trajectory because the market actually trusts the laurel behind it.
This mission has guided every operating decision we've made since 2018, from refusing to monetize jury seats to publishing our scoring rubric for any participant who asks. We believe the Arabian region has produced — and continues to produce — businesses that compete at the highest global standard, and those businesses deserve a recognition platform that competes at the same standard.
The Arabian Best of Best Awards was born out of a frustration shared across the regional business community: most existing awards programs in the Middle East monetized their nominations, sold their categories, or quietly tied recognition to sponsorship. The result was a marketplace where the laurel had lost its meaning — and where the genuinely excellent operators in the region had no credible way to be recognized for it.
A small group of regional industry veterans set out to build something different. Drawing on collective experience across hospitality, finance, healthcare, technology, real estate, and professional services, the founding council established three founding rules that still govern the program today: no pay-to-win, no jury influence by sponsors, and transparent evaluation criteria. Eight years later, those rules have not been bent once.
The Arabian region is, by almost any measure, the world's most rapidly transforming business landscape. The UAE has become a global hub for finance, tourism, and technology. Saudi Arabia is executing the largest economic diversification program in the world under Vision 2030. Qatar continues to invest its sovereign wealth into sectors ranging from sports to fintech. Bahrain remains the GCC's most mature financial services environment. Kuwait combines deep family-business heritage with a new wave of digital entrepreneurship. Oman is quietly building one of the most authentic luxury tourism and logistics ecosystems in the world.
Each of these markets deserves a recognition platform attuned to its specific industries, regulatory landscape, and cultural fabric — not a generic regional program that treats them all the same. That's why our country-specific awards programs exist: the UAE Awards, Saudi Arabia Awards, Qatar Awards, Bahrain Awards, Kuwait Awards, and Oman Awards each operate with country-specific juries, country-specific category sets, and country-specific evaluation frameworks.
Beyond country awards, our program is organized around twenty industry verticals — each with its own dedicated jury, category structure, and recognition pipeline. From Restaurant Awards to Finance Awards, Healthcare Awards to Technology Awards, every industry vertical is overseen by senior practitioners with decades of frontline experience in that specific field. We don't ask a hospitality juror to evaluate a fintech startup, and we don't ask a banker to judge a beauty brand.
This industry-specific approach is the reason our laurel carries genuine weight inside each sector. When a UAE hospitality brand wins an Arabian Best of Best Award, it means something specific — they were evaluated by senior hospitality operators who understand exactly what's hard about running a great hotel in the Emirates. The same logic applies across every category we recognize.
The Arabian Awards jury is composed of 40+ senior practitioners from across the GCC and beyond — former CEOs, sector specialists, regulatory veterans, and academic experts. We pay our jurors. We do not allow our sponsors to interact with our jurors. We rotate our jurors regularly to prevent capture. And we publish jury member bios so that participants and the broader business community can see exactly who is doing the evaluation.

Every year, our winners are revealed at the Arabian Best of Best Awards Gala in Dubai — a black-tie ceremony that brings together 800+ executives, founders, royals, diplomats, and media from 100+ countries. The 2026 Gala will take place on 14 November 2026 in Dubai, UAE. The Gala is, by intentional design, one of the most useful single nights in the regional business calendar for senior networking and high-value partnership creation.
